 DORIS - I have been going to Andrea for Personal Training for three years and three months. I started because I wanted to lose weight and get fitter. From day one Andrea set me achievable targets, she worked out a food and training plan for me, she encouraged me, motivated me, she pushed me out of my comfort zone and in the process I became fitter, had more energy, toned up and lost weight. She is able to answer any question about healthy eating and give advice on sore muscles or injuries.
Three years on and I enjoy our sessions just as much, the sessions are hard work and target the whole body, no two sessions are the same, she continues to motivate and encourage me to stay on track. I call her my "exercise angel".
When I first went I could not run for very long on the treadmill - she encouraged me to run a leg of five miles in a Half Marathon as a goal - that was three years ago I have since completed three Half Marathons.
Andrea is a fantastic Personal Trainer who gets the best out of you in the gym so you can look your best outside the gym.

Debi- I started personal training with andrea at befit about 7 months ago as my friend was going,she tortured me into going and being overweight and lazy i really had no notion of going.i went to please her! i have tried loads of diets before but never really stuck to anything.andrea threw me in the deep end,worked my backside off,she had to endure my moaning and complaining! i started off a size 14/16 she now has me a size 10 with lots of encouragement i have lost 39 pounds,i even go to exercise classes a lot.my fitness has improved loads and i am even going to attempt a relay in a half marathon thanks to andrea pushing me on........if andrea can make me do it,she can motivate anyone to do it ....thanks andrea i feel great:)

Cara - I decided to try to get fit in July 2010 after coming home from a holiday, it was then I realised I had let myself get in really bad shape and was so uncomfortable and embarrassed by my  body!  I was a size 12/14 and had tried every diet in the book believe me.
I looked on the internet for local trainers and found Befit NI and so I made the decision to go see Andrea the following week, she told me what she believed would be possible for me and made me feel really positive for the first time in a long time about what I could achieve.
I started going to Befit 3 times a week and although it was probably the hardest thing i’ve ever done it was amazingly invigorating and the feeling I got from completing each week was amazing, the best part came when I started to lose weight week after week – I began to believe that I might actually be capable of reaching my goal.
I have now reached the goal I originally set myself and am continuing to tone up and lose weight (such a bonus at this point) and am even taking part in the relay of the Belfast Marathon in May 2011, I never thought I would see the day!!
BeFit NI has completely changed my life and I continue to go to Andrea and Christine once a week to maintain my fitness and any further weight loss and toning is merely an extra pleasure.
It is now the beginning of January 2011 and I am currently a size 10 and couldn’t be happier! :-))

 

      

 

 

 

Paula - It was November 2008 & I decided it was time to lose some weight and the only person that could make this happen was me, with a lot of help and support from Andrea. When I first started to go to Andrea I tipped the scales at 16st12.5lbs and within 6 months of hard work and determination I had lost a total of 5st. Once I had lost the weight I then knew what I wanted to do, I wanted to become a Personal Trainer and help people to do what I had done, to let them know that if I could do it anyone could, and that’s what I did, once again with the help of Andrea.
      Andrea took me under her wing and helped me to get into a business which is a tough one, but worth all the sweat and tears. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Andrea for all the help she gave me and say to anyone who is thinking about losing weight it can be done, and it is worth it.
